In the heart of the Middle East, an entrepreneurial success story: Tecsystem Orient, born in 2012 from the vision of Roberto Conca and Hossam El Gendy, General Manager of the Tecsystem Group subsidiary, is today a benchmark in the design, production and distribution of temperature control solutions for the entire Middle East region and Africa.
‘When we started,’ says Hossam El Gendy, ‘we were the first in the sector in this area. Over the years, we have covered the entire Middle East, offering efficient solutions in the field of temperature control, thanks to our constant search for innovative technologies and offering the customer a complete service, from design to production and assistance’.
Tecsystem Orient's strength lies in its ability to combine Italian know-how with a deep understanding of the local market. ‘We guarantee very high quality standards thanks to a constant chain of checks and tests. Having acquired the processes of the headquarters, our added value comes from our in-depth knowledge of the peculiarities of our territory and the consequent design and implementation of effective devices’.
A unique environmental challenge
The climatic conditions in the Middle East present a particular challenge. ‘In the Gulf area, temperatures reach extreme levels,’ El Gendy points out, ‘but our systems ensure the perfect functioning of the transformers even under these critical conditions. Our tests, as the Tecsystem Group's philosophy teaches us, go far beyond the limits imposed by the relevant standards, guaranteeing extreme safety and high productivity.’

A strategic positioning
Headquartered in Egypt's strategic Decimo Ramadan area, just 20 minutes from Cairo, Tecsystem Orient is located in a tactical area, chosen for its proximity to many facilities such as strategic ports and airport in Cairo, but also for its closeness to important client companies of the sector.
Same family, same values
Although it is a highly structured company, with in-house design, production and service departments, at Tecsystem Orient there is a clear connection to the headquarters, not only in terms of procedures, technology and quality standards, but also in terms of the values that permeate the Group.
Today, 17 highly qualified employees work at T.O., many of them present since the opening in 2012. ‘There is a family atmosphere here that reflects the values transmitted by the Group and by Roberto Conca, the founder, above all,’ confirms El Gendy.
‘Mr Conca left an extraordinary entrepreneurial heritage, built over forty years on the most solid ethical principles. His example still guides us and we honour his memory by following the path we shared.
This vision is renewed and amplified today thanks to Elisabetta Conca (President) and Cesare Campisi (COO), who with entrepreneurial talent have been able to not only preserve but also expand this heritage, leading the company to a position of clear leadership in the sector.’
Nationwide presence
One of our strengths is to be close to the customer. We participate in trade fairs all over the continent,’ says El Gendy, ’from Dubai to South Africa, from Saudi Arabia to Morocco.
Recently, the company strengthened its presence and services for the entire African continent with the opening of a sales office in the Dubai FreeZone: ‘it is a strategic commercial presence in one of the most dynamic areas of the region,’ explains Gabriele Maiocco, head of the Group's subsidiaries.

Tecsystem Orient will be present at the Dubai trade fair in April, with important new products in the range, starting with the revolutionary WS EVO series, the transformer's true ‘black box’, able to record all events set for 10 years.
The appointment is at ‘Middle East Energy 2025’, (7 - 9 April, Stand H4G10 Hall Said), the Dubai trade fair that confirms itself as one of the most important in the Energy, Electricity, Renewable Energy sectors.
